Nina is a 16-year-old 16hh Percheron Thoroughbred Cross. For many years Nina was a lesson horse, she is beginner safe, and will take care of her rider no matter what.

Most recently, Nina has been spending the summer exploring all the local trails, she loves to be out exploring. Nina is the ideal mount for an adult returning to riding who wants to get their confidence back or a rider who wants to go a little further and try something new.

She loves to be groomed and practically falls asleep when on crossties. She has excellent ground manners. In the arena she has more whoa that go. She does it all. Loves the trails and loves to jump or hop over some cross rails (we are told in her previous life she jumped up to 1.2m). Sweet personality and great work ethic. I am only offering her on lease so that I can focus on another horse and know she has so much to offer.

Looking for the right person for Nina: mature, experienced in riding English (who can ride safely on their own), willing to take regular lessons (we can recommend a coach or bring your own coach), on-property lease (preference is for a full lease or may consider a partial). English tack included.

Rider requires current NSEF membership. Located at Willow and Withers Stables in Sheffield Mills. Access to large outdoor arena, indoor arena, round pen and lots of trails nearby. Barn is made up of largely adult riders. Very supportive, no drama type of environment.

Cost

• full lease at $600 a month (preferred)
• half lease at $300 a month (will consider), for 3 days a week of riding – one weekend day and two week days.
