Meet Will-oh! – The First Horse Simulator in Nova Scotia
I’ve been keeping a little secret… and I can finally share it. 🎉
I’ve just ordered Will-oh!, our very own Racewood Dressage Pro Simulator — and she’s officially on her way to Nova Scotia! In about 6–8 weeks, she’ll be here, settling into her brand-new climate-controlled room at Willow & Withers.
A few months ago, I had the chance to visit Racewood in the UK and ride the newest Dressage Pro model. (That’s me with her in the photo!) The experience was incredible — so much so that I knew right then and there that we had to bring one home.
Why Will-oh!?
Riding is a lifelong journey, full of highs and challenges. For me, I wanted a way to work on my seat — especially the canter — without making my horse suffer through all my mistakes. The simulator is the perfect answer: a safe, consistent training partner that gives real-time feedback and helps riders of all levels progress faster.
When I found out there were only a handful of these simulators in all of Canada, I couldn’t believe it. Now, Nova Scotia will have its very first.
What She Can Do
Will-oh! isn’t just about fun (though she’s definitely that). She’ll also help riders:
- Fine-tune balance, position, and aids with instant feedback
- Work on movements from walk to extended trot to lateral work
- Access biomechanics assessments to measure real progress
- Train year-round in a comfortable, safe environment
What’s Next
We’re putting the finishing touches on Will-oh!’s new home, and once she arrives, we’ll be ready to launch programs for:
- Riders wanting to improve their seat, confidence, and technique
- Coaches looking for new teaching tools
- Barn groups wanting a fun night out (think: Christmas parties with a twist!)
- Equestrian wellness partners (physios, massage therapists, chiropractors) who want to combine bodywork with simulator training
Be Among the First
Will-oh! is on her way, and we’re building our Rider Launch List right now. Sign up to be the first to know when bookings open — and to be entered to win one of five free biomechanics assessments. https://willowandwithers.ca/rider-launch
